The Everglades Chapter of The Association of Fundraising Professionals was formed in 1994. We serve AFP members as well as professionals working in fundraising in the local community by providing monthly continuing education and/ or networking programs.

Nov 11 - Membership/Annual Fund Manager
The Membership/Annual Fund Manager provides strategic direction and execution for annual giving programs, while supporting the greater fund development and capital campaign goals of Naples Botanical Garden. Areas of responsibility include membership, the annual fund, memorials and tributes, corporate gifts and sponsorships, and grant writing and reporting. The Membership/Annual Fund Manager will develop communication and solicitation strategies incorporating email, direct mail, phone/mail, onsite event presence, personal interaction and volunteer engagement, all focused on shaping a sustainable tradition of annual support. The Manager has a keen appreciation that annual giving is the foundation for successful major and gift planning programs. Oct 31 - Director of Development
The Development Director will be responsible for formulating, implementing and directing the fundraising strategies for the organization. Apr 16 - 2014 AFP Diverse Communities Scholarship Program Overview & Criteria
The mission of the AFP Diverse Communities Conference Scholarship Fund is to help ensure that AFP programs are inclusive and supportive of diversity-related issues and concerns, to provide financial support for activities that increase understanding and awareness of diversity issues within the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), and to provide financial assistance for professional development for AFP members who self-identify as coming from a diverse community and/or who are employed by grassroots organizations that primarily serve diverse populations. ... more >

At the recent AFP board meeting held in conjunction with the 2014 AFP International Conference on Fundraising, we were delighted to announce the chartering of two new AFP chapters: the AFP Bermuda Chapter and the AFP BC, Okanagan Chapter.
