This is a senior management position requiring superior knowledge in all aspects of development. This position is responsible for planning, developing, and maintaining a comprehensive fundraising program on behalf of DLC and to enhance the mission and vision established by the Board of Directors. The Director of Development is also responsible for supervising staff in marketing and events management including solicitations, event materials, web publications and public relations. David Lawrence Center is a not-for-profit, behavioral health agency that provides comprehensive, innovative mental health and substance abuse services in Southwest Florida. In addition to helping children with behavioral, emotional and substance abuse challenges, the Center provides counseling and rehabilitative services to adults in crisis and individuals with persistent mental illness. Each year, more than 30,000 individuals’ lives are touched by our 40 prevention, intervention and treatment services.
